Okay, I won an auction on ebay for a PNY XLR8 GeForce 8800GT graphics card. It is supposed to come with 2 DVI-to-VGA adapters, S-Video Cable, HDTV Break-Out Pod/Cable, and “Y” Adapter Power Cable. It is missing one of the two DVI to VGA adapters, the "Y" Adapter Power Cable, and the S-video Cable. Now, my question to you is, are these missing items necessary for running the card in SLI with another of the same type on my PC?
If anyone could fill me in on what those parts do as well, that would be helpful. Thank you.

The DVI to VGA allows you to use VGA connections on the card. This is usual of older monitors. The Y power adapter is for the power hookup from your power supply to the card, not required in most cases, and if it is, you can easily buy one for a few bucks. S-video is an old standard for video output, and should be considered junk by today's standards.
