What is a Wind Power Generator?
Almost anyone would jump at the opportunity to lower or even eliminate their monthly electricity bills, but many people aren’t aware of just how simple and affordable it is to do just that by installing a wind turbine. In recent years, the technology behind wind turbines has evolved so much that it now constitutes a realistic solution for homeowners of all sorts that’s small and quiet, not to mention more efficient than ever before.
Current wind generators come in a variety of different styles and sizes, in order to meet a wide variety of specifications. Wind turbines have been in use in this sort of form for a decades, but recent years in particular have seen a host of advancements in terms of design and effectiveness. Previously, wind turbines of all configurations had very large blades which needed unusually strong winds in order to be rotated, not to mention vast quantities of free space just to be installed. Although they were somewhat smaller than commercial-use wind turbines from the same time, these turbines still weren’t particularly appropriate for residential use, for a variety of reasons. They could be very costly to set up, particularly because they almost always had to be mounted on towers in order to be exposed to winds high enough to rotate their heavy blades. They also had to be aligned at the correct angle in order to catch the wind. Certain turbines had tail rudders, which supposedly could be used to orient the turbines in such a way that they would operate at peak efficiency. Of course, this addition was only somewhat effective, as the turbines were normally so heavy that the tail rudder would also need strong winds in order to be of any use. The strong, regular winds needed by these early turbines are not known to occur in many residential locations.
Modern wind power generators, though, are able to generate power even from light winds, such as those that occur in most residential settings. Their lighter weight means that they orient more quickly, as well. Vertical axis turbines don’t have to be aligned at all, as they are able to rotate regardless of the direction of the wind. The power-to-cost ratio offered by modern turbines is perhaps their most attractive feature. Do you want to know the price range of the different types of wind turbines? Read wind turbines cost for futher information.
These new wind turbines are ideal for use in residential settings, as they generate serious amounts of power even when mounted on small towers, or even on the roofs of homes. Tall towers, which could add significantly to the total cost of a wind power generator system, are no longer required even for residential users thanks to these modern turbines. While they might not generate as much power at peak times that industrial units do, these small turbines actually produce a similar amount of power on average because they continue to turn even in light winds. Homeowners will like this consistency of production. The noise issues that once plagued wind turbines have also been virtually eliminated. The affordability and reliability of modern wind turbines mean that this is a great time to move to this clean, consistent provider of energy.
Do you want to build your own wind generator? It is quite possible to build your own wind generator if you have a good set of wind generator plans. For the best guides to building your own wind generators, visit Wind Generator Plans.

how do i get max power out of my amp?
i have a 1000 watt 2 channel dub amp but the max power is a lot higher how do i get the max power out of the amp?
you should have 2 pairs of outputs... you will have to do what they call a "bridge"
basicaly you output wire that goes from you amp to you sub will be on the "+" of on pair and the "-" on the other pair
(+)( - ) (+)( - )
|__SUBS__ |
like that
but if it whats i think you trying to do
you cant
1000watt rms is what your amp puts out at a steady rate
peak power is what it can attain AT ALL TIMES so you cant have it set at peak power at all times
1000w rms mean that the current will go below 1000 and just above 1000 when it gets a good kick but will generaly stay at 1000
plus if you were able to keep you amp at peak as soon as you would get a drum sound it would blow the amp
Initial D Max Power
