A reply to a certain question asked in Interview.?
I have done Engineering in Computers and I completed in 2008. Due to melt down I lost my job offer. And for the last 2 years I have been in working in small companies.
Last month I applied for PSU test n i cleared it.
Now they are certain to ask me a question i.e. Why do you want to join a Bank and deviate from your line of education? OR As an engineer why do you want to go for Banking job?
The actual answer for this question is that the job is secure and other thing is that I am not getting a job anywhere else......
But I need an impressive answer as You all know the answer above will spoil each and everything!
So kindly Help!
The realistic answer is not at all difficult.
Even a 10th pass can work efficiently as a banker. There are many who joined as a subordinate staff, became clerk, officer and even General Manager in Nationalised Banks in India.
Now, in the computerised evironment, the Bank stands to gain more than a job seeker when an Engineer in computers decides to take up a Bank job! Such a candidate can rise up to software designer, as an in-house-expert, saving Crores of rupees, plus excellent security of software for the Bank. The greatest advantage is that job experience would ensure an end user-friendly software from such an employee!!
If a candidate takes up this job seriously, that person could become an institution by oneself, and pose a threat to all other competing Banks!
