yes,more than enough,and lets go through them one by one,beginning with the
antec 900 : antec make in my opinion the best cases there are,the antec 900 is a excellent case with superior cooling covering all parts of the p.c,and with 7 fans no smaller than 120mm with the top fan being a massive 200mm the antec nine hundred is the creme,de,la,creme of pc cases
the intel core 2 quad Q9550 is a excellent processor thats more than capable of running all of todays apps and games and with the superior architecture you can easily overclock this to 3.5ghz without any problems and with the zalman cooler it should be kept nice and cool,also consider the closed loop water cooling sets,this is basically a cpu block with a pump thats cooled from 2 x 92mm fans at the rear of your p.c
the asus p5q pro is a tried and tested mobo thats remarkably stable and has loads of features,also its a excellent mobo for overclockers/tweakers
500gb of hard drive capacity should be fine for most people,however have you checked out the solid state drives or ssd,s,compared to the best sata drives seek time of 7.1ms(milli-second) the ssd,s have a seek time of 0.1ms,this is obviously due to the lack of any moving parts and with manufactuers of ssd,s promising 1 million hours of use from each drive these are worth considering when building any pc
however they dont come cheap and a 250gb ssd drive can cost in excess of £300,and many system builders are using ssd,s as their main system drive and then combining them with a sata drive thats used for storage of files ect
4gb of ddr2 ram clocked at 800mhz is fine and wont let you down,and the antec true power psu is a popular brand ,and with 850watt rated power this should be ok even for sli/crossfire systems
and finally the graphic card(s),and the radeon HD4850 is currently the most popular sub £100 gaming card and can even out perform the other favourite card the 9800gt
summary : this is a good system with a well chosen selection of components,especially the case,and its also nice to see you using a 3rd party cooler instead of a stock cooler,ok the intel coolers are not that bad however if they are anything like the ones i have had they end up sounding like a industrial generator after 12 months which is no good
