Scary Survival Horror Gaming From Genre Giant Silent Hill Shattered Memories
The Silent Hill franchise barely needs an introduction, for the gaming franchise has become a byword for perfection within the survival horror genre. The long line of games has stretched over numerous consoles over the years, and continues to bring revolutionary and genuinely hair-raising gameplay to our screens. This trend continues with the latest release for the PSP and PSP Go!- Silent Hill: Shattered Memories.
This game is really a port of the Wii version released in 2009, and the transaction to the small screen has been surprisingly popular. The formula for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is recognisable but appreciated; you're Harry Mason, who awakens following a crash to his daughter lost within Silent Hill. This abandoned place ranges from forboding creepiness to complete terror as its demonic denizens begin to reveal themselves, and the PSP's visual edge doesn't fail us here.
Some fascinating and innovative gaming methods are used in Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. First of all, the well discussed 'running' sequences from the Wii version are carried through. These find Harry defenceless and thus solely able to flee from his attackers, and thus you engage in a very terrifying interactive scene as you attempt to escape from those nipping at your heels.
Secondly, as players advance through the plot, the gameplay is interspersed with sections involving Harry discussing life with a psychologist. This individual can raise general questions about life, his views on ladies etc. The answers you select will actually impact on the various places you visit and also the characters/enemies you face. This obviously opens Silent Hill: Shattered Memories up for several playthroughs to determine everything.
This game certainly upholds the long line of impressive offerings from the Silent Hill franchise; fusing the tried and tested formula with new and innovative gameplay elements. If you are a devotee of the notoriously creepy survival horror, then Silent Hill: Shattered Memories should be a clear choice!
Where can I find a laptop for music production (under £600)?
I need a laptop which will allow me to record/produce music and I'm stuck as I don't know if an 'off the shelve' laptop would do it. The main thing I'm having trouble finding is a silent fan. I can't afford to spend over £600. Please help!!!!
